The founder
As the founder and principal designer of Karin Kolb Interiors, I have the privilege of transforming homes into thoughtfully curated spaces that balance timeless elegance, comfort and functionality.
My passion for design has evolved over more than two decades, shaped by my early career in real estate, formal studies in Interior Design and years of experience creating beautiful homes for my clients.
I specialize in full service residential design, from extensive renovations and new builds to complete home furnishings, country retreats, cottages and ski chalets throughout Toronto, Collingwood and Cottage Country.
I believe that exceptional design goes hand in hand with thoughtful planning and seamless execution. Working alongside an exceptional team of skilled tradespeople, artisans and trusted suppliers, I manage the entire design process, from the initial concept and space planning to coordinating trades, selecting finishes and materials, sourcing furnishings, overseeing installations and attending to the finishing details.
My approach is both creative and hands on. I take pride in managing the many moving parts of a project, anticipating challenges and ensuring that every element comes together cohesively. My goal is to take the complexity out of the process so my clients can enjoy the excitement of seeing their vision come to life, with the confidence that every detail is being thoughtfully considered.
For me, the most rewarding part of what I do is getting to know my clients, understanding how they live and creating spaces that feel uniquely theirs. I believe the design process should be collaborative, inspiring and, above all, enjoyable.

Monica
Operations Manager
Monika joined Karin Kolb Interiors in 2025. She completed the Interior Design Technology program at George Brown College in 2108, a comprehensive three-year course that provided in-depth training in both the technical and creative aspects of interior design.
Following that, Monika completed a Project Management program at Humber College, which consisted of four specialized courses taken over the span of a year. This program focused on managing residential and commercial projects, with an emphasis on planning, scheduling, and cost management. It was a valuable complement to design training, enhancing her ability to oversee projects from concept to completion.
Caroline Mason
Freelance Designer
Caroline joined Karin Kolb Interiors in 2023. She graduated from George Brown College in the Interior Design Technology program in 2021 where both the artistic and the technical skill required to excel in this field. Caroline excels in taking our designs and turning them into beautiful plans and concepts. Caroline’s technical expertise, creativity and eye for design is a huge asset to our team and our clients.
Victoria Cavello
Victoria joined Karin Kolb Interiors in 2026. She graduated with honours from Humber Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2026, where she developed a strong foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of interior design. Through her studies, Victoria gained experience in spatial planning, design development, technical drafting, and creating thoughtful, client-focused interiors.
Victoria is passionate about bringing design concepts to life through detailed plans, material, and realistic visual presentations. Her creativity, attention to detail, and strong design sensibility make her a valuable addition to the Karin Kolb Interiors team.
